Fawn is my launch island, named after my yellow Labrador retriever. This island was started on New Horizons’ release day of March 20, 2020. It has gone through several layouts, but I finally made one that I love. It features seven “permanent” villagers who will never leave, and three “vacationing” villagers who can move out if they want to.

Scenic Views
Fawn offers a farmer’s market outside the Nook’s Cranny and Able Sisters shops, as well as a small marina for boat deliveries. Punchy maintains a larger marina comprised of multiple docks with boats and fishing equipment. Each boat dock is personalized as some of the island residents keep their personal boats there. A fueling station is available behind Bones’s house near the lake, with easy beach access for launching.
Waterfront Properties
Several homes on Fawn are placed around a large lake or near the beaches. Water plays a large role on Fawn as it is a cozy, costal space without being too tropical or beachy.
Diverse Population
Permanent residents include Agnes, Genji, Goldie, Punchy, Ellie, Bluebear, and Bones, who have been living on Fawn since around the time of the game’s launch. Vacationers include Flurry, Rolf, and Elise. Vacationers rotate out when they want to move or if there’s a visiting camper that I like. The new ones will be reflected here.
